What's new in this version?

Events and Places Filters

Now you can filter the feed of events and check-ins to your liking.

To do this, open the context menu (hold) of an event or check-in and select "Filter"

After applying filters, a corresponding indicator will appear on the mini-map indicating that the content in the feed has been filtered and the changed information is displayed. Filters also cannot be turned on all the time :)

New camera

One of the main principles of FaceToPlace is high quality images.

And the new camera brings us closer to this goal. Lens support and separate shooting mode for video. Now the application will be able to use all the capabilities of your device’s camera, and the pictures will turn out even juicier.

Also, you can now use the camera to scan QR codes.

We are preparing something special related to this function, but in the meantime, you can practice and help the application a little by scanning QR codes from sales receipts from different cafes and stores. Each scanned receipt will earn you a little FaceStat if it contains information useful to us. By scanning receipts, you also help the establishment.

Point of interest

New category of markers on the map.

Yes, now interesting activities and tasks will be marked on the map, for completing which you can receive a special reward. Such tasks do not always appear, we will separately notify you when it is worth looking at the map 😉

"Wave to Friends"

New social activity feature.

If two friends have this feature enabled, and by a happy coincidence they are not so far from each other, they will both receive a notification about this.

Check-in queue indicator

Travel anywhere

If there are problems with the network or the network disappears completely, the application will save all check-ins made and download them with the exact time stamp of creation as soon as possible. And the new queue indicator will show how many check-ins are currently waiting when you return to the network.

A few more little things:

• It is now possible to hide your check-ins from the card (the function has been added to the profile privacy settings)

• Markers on the map can now be hidden and filtered

• Application status indicators on the Emoji card

• Fixed display of reviews in establishments and all other errors that you wrote to us about
