I didn't like it. This really looks like a freelance project of a reactive, progressive studio of homeless artists, with their own vision of animation and its development trends.
Only if Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was neutered and adapted to a watchable format in some way.
If The Witness (Love, Death & Robots) was a short film and a “12-minute adventure”
then here, they decided to shoot almost a full meter in an experimental format.

And again this desire to do european anime and hype about boobs, guns, little girls, cyberpunk and the future... It’s hard to watch how artists show off in every scene and put form above content. Although it is clear that it is cheap (((
At the same time, fear is completely lost, the archetypal plot outline is broken already from the second episode.
As a result, from complete denial after watching the first episode, all that was left was a slight feeling that I didn’t understand something.

You may agree, you may not, but Arcane’s plot and the story of two sisters is something stylistically... different.

I don't feel comfortable watching it. I honestly almost fell asleep during the episode 6 finale and the 💥WOW💥 moments. But overall, this is another attempt to answer the age-old question, in the voice of a new (even fresher) generation.
And this is interesting. The conflict between the elite and the lower city does not change in any way.
It's ironic that in this story I'm more like Heimerdinger
I am sharply critical of the progressive series, I can only hope that at least someone will feel sorry for me in this situation.
Before watching the third act, I assessed the series as follows:
In the last episodes of the first season, I still found a small game changer, but it was present more as a “I don’t know why, but let it be”
More specifically, there are two points and both are “victims of progress.”
The price you have to pay to go further.
It didn’t improve my impression of the series much, but there was hope and, in principle, I can already give it 9/10.
