Twin Peaks - what's the point?

Regarding David Lynch's explanation, you can show yourself to be very smart. I took many of the materials for writing these articles “from scratch.” David Lynch himself does not comment on his paintings in any way and does not like it when they are “chewed out” Everyone can understand this picture differently (just like life).

One of the phrases that is emphasized is: “Call for help.”

Here he is - the man of the future.

We are shown a child and his mother.

There is no help as such and there never will be.

And in fact, there are many such scenes throughout the series.

But the authors give a hint on how to fix everything.

Cole is deaf to this world, but he is trying to figure it all out and put things in order.

Doubles

Leland Palmer is a good man. But as soon as Bob possesses him; Leland begins to beat and subsequently rape his daughter.

Evil is always our double. It's always there. That trick with changing the hair color, I don’t think anyone immediately realized that it was Bob.

The death of a boy from a truck.

Fucking scary scene. Just out of nothing.

The explanation is simple: irrational evil.

This is life and this happens.

We can explain the dwarf with an ice pick in exactly the same way.

Evil is irrational. The inexplicable cruelty of life.

Girl and entity

This is truly a beautiful scene. Creepy, disgusting, but wildly interesting.

What’s scary is not even that the girl swallows this creature, but not the understanding - For what she does it.

There is no explanation here. Everyone can interpret this in their own way.

But if we turn to folklore, then if a girl eats a toad or a plum licked by a toad, then she becomes pregnant and gives birth to a monster. You can interpret it this way... why not.

But in that very part Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, We we can hear Laura say:

If Bob is not inside me, then he must kill me.

If evil is not in me, then it is against me.

Quite creepy.

Vomit

Vomiting appears immediately after the explosion (more on that later).

By the way, this is not the only vomiting... I once ate and watched the beginning of the third season... well, you remember...

In the vomit of that creature (after the explosion scene) we see images of the characters from Twin Peaks.

Vomiting can be transferred to the author.

The author's vomit is something the viewer enjoys delving into.

The plot threads don’t come together and that’s their beauty.

The beauty of Twin Peaks is that it is inexplicable.

Lord, how good and how scary, and how nothing is clear!
